Has this zone only been here since the Nightfall update, or have I just missed it? It's certainly interesting to know what all these guys would say had I just arrived from Cantha or Elona, except I only have Prophecies, here. In addition, there's no way OUT of the zone for me except by map travelling, and there's a set of stairs with an invisible wall at the top >.> Interesting find (for me, anyway), but a bit buggy.

It has been there all the time. With Factions it was the "landing zone" for Canthan born chars coming to tyria.

Aah, fair enough, guess I just never noticed it before. Still funny to see people referring to me like I just turned up from Cantha, though.

You can just walk straight out the front door, next to where the henchies are

Well there aint no door there for my Prophecies only character either. I am guessing that it is only there if you are a character who has come over from Cantha???

The end of Gates of Kryta mission ends there I think.

Nope, I'm all the way to Ring of Fire Islands but had never been in this area.

The area was previously only for new arrivals from Cantha.

Afaik in the old days that also was the entrance to the LA Arena (for PVP)...
